IHRSA’s 32nd Annual International Convention & Trade Show has kicked off and is on its way! For those of you who may be in the dark, IHRSA (International Health, Racquet & Sportsclub Association) is the trade association serving the health and fitness club industry. They strive to grow, protect and promote the health and fitness industry while making the world healthier through regular exercise and fitness promotion. Members of IHRSA include health and fitness facilities, gyms, spas, sportsclubs and suppliers across the globe.
Every year IHRSA holds their tradeshow where everyone in the global health and fitness industry can come together as one. It truly is an experience like none other. I’ve been six times myself and I can tell you that it is amazing! Just getting to be in the same room with so many other fitness enthusiasts who want to change the world through fitness. You get to meet so many special and like-minded individuals.
There is so much to do! Exercise classes, networking opportunities, educational sessions for personal trainers, world-class speakers and (of course) the trade show. You get to see and experience all the new and upcoming fitness products, programs and services.
I am saddened to say that we are unable to attend this year’s conference. But, for all of you who are there, make sure and have enough fun for us as well! And if you are there, you can get excited about that fact that this year’s conference has already made history. You are there with others from 80 different countries! Have fun and be safe!
