What Do We Consider
Participation Hours
For each course description, identify the number of hours that you expect participants will need to complete the activity, which may include examination and assessment time.
1 hour = 0.2 NFPT CECs
Relevant Coursework
Your course’s educational content should include the development of fitness training or business skills that would be appropriate for existing NFPT Certified Personal Trainers.
CEC Provider Partners Receive
Marketing Value
Your company name, logo and your description of up to 50 words on the NFPT CEC Provider Partners page
Landing page
A page on the NFPT website with your 200- to 500-word description, company logo and a course list with links
NFPT’s Terms
Link Exchange
Add NFPT’s logo and/or CE-Approved Badge to your relevant company pages, including a link to our website.
Print Material
Include NFPT’s logo and/or CE-Approved Badge in your applicable continuing education print material and on certificates.
Application and Course Fees
Pay a $65 application fee and a $105 per-course fee.
Annual Fees
Pay a $125 per-year fee for each approved course with a maximum of $295 per year for more than two courses.
Dated Events
Pay a $165 application fee for one-time events like dated courses, classes or seminars for each submission, which includes an expedited approval process.

Submit With Your Application
Course Content
Submit all educational materials, including the manual and sample exams. These can be links to online content, digital files (Word, PowerPoint or PDF) or printed pieces. Manuals must include references.
Instructor Bio
Include any education, certifications or honors earned by the instructor or instructors as well as any relevant courses they’ve developed.
